It is extremely unlikely, in my opinion, that EFH will require a taxpayer bailout. Another company will come in and buy all of EFH's assets for a swan song, and likely manage and run them better than EFH has been able to do with their debilitating credit obligations.

The fact of the matter is that Oncor, the transmission and delivery assets portion of EFH are still extremely valuable, as is TXU's large book of retail electricity customers and brand name.

Several years back, Reliant Energy was in distress and NRG came in and bought them for 250 million dollars, a relative bargain. And that was for just retail electricity customers. Someone will come in and buy EFH for many billions and view it in the same light: a bargain.

I hope Luminant goes broke and heads for the Bahamas---they have a big 'ole office in Booger County just across from the crooked Court House on the "square" in Booger. Send them on their way!
