Thousands of citizens converged on Washington DC for a week of action that culminated in a march on April 17th. Part of a movement called Democracy Awakening, they mobilized in Washington, D.C. calling for the protection of voting rights, getting big money out of politics and demanding an up or down vote on President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee. And that is just the start.
Protest in front of the Supreme Court resulted in hundreds of arrests.
