HB 3110 – Bad

Alliance for a Clean Texas organizations involved in air and TCEQ sunset legislation are opposed to HB 3110.   HB 3110 will be heard in House Energy Resources on Wednesday, March 30th.

Here is a simple statement of opposition to HB 3110:

The partner and affiliate organizations in The Alliance for a Clean Texas oppose HB 3110 because this bill would place limitations on the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s ability to protect the health of Texans.  This bill would provide the oil and gas industry special exemptions from air emission standards.  ACT can see no public health or environmental reason to put in place such exemptions.
